Clinton-Massie JV baseball wins three in a row

The Clinton-Massie reserve baseball team is 3-3 on the year after posting three consecutive wins.

On Friday, the Falcons defeated Washington at Paul Schwamberger Field. Cam Collett, Keith Mineer, Tyler Beam, Ashdain Martin and Matt Asher had two hits each. Alec Thomas and Corey May had one hit each.

Kenton McInerney pitched five innings as the starter and struck out seven.

In the CM seventh with the Falcons trailing by one, Asher singled in Martin to tie the game. Collett then brought home the winning run with a bases loaded single.

On Thursday at Chillicothe, the Falcons defeated the Cavaliers.

Collett led the offense with three hits while Tyler Lewis added two hits. Thomas, Tyler Beam and Martin had a hit each.

May went 5 2/3 innings on the mound and struck out nine.
