ADAMS TOWNSHIP — The Clinton-Massie boys and girls track and field teams swept honors Monday at the Clinton-Massie Relays at Chick Brown Track.
In the boys meet, CM finished first and was followed by Little Miami, Wilmington, Kings, East Clinton, Madison-Plains and Western Brown.
The Falcons set a school record in the 4×1600-meter relay with a time of 20:04. The quartet of Jacob Whitaker, Alex Hudson, Tanner Olberding and Nick Chowning won the race and eclipsed the 2010 mark of 20:21 held by Dillon Davis, Adam Gullette, DJ Jewett and Myles Corcoran.
The Falcons also won the shot put, shuttle hurdles, 4×400-meters, 4×800-meters, 4×100-meters and the sprint medley.
Wilmington finished first in the long jump and 4×200-meter competitions.
East Clinton’s best finish came in the sprint medley where the Astros finished second.
In the girls meet, the Lady Falcons edged Wilmington who was followed by Kings, Little Miami, Western Brown, Madison-Plains and East Clinton.
Clinton-Massie won the 4×400-meters, 4×800-meters, 4×200-meters, 4×100-meters and the distance medley.
Wilmington won the pole vault competition.
East Clinton’s best finish was third in the 4×1600-meters.
