ECMS girls set several school records

WAYNESVILLE — The East Clinton Middle School girls track and field team finished 11th Saturday at the Waynesville Invitational.

Emma Malone was 10th in the long jump. Malone was fourth in the 100-meter dash in 13.2 seconds, which established a new ECMS record. She previously held the school record.

Myah Jones was eighth in the 200-meter hurdles in 33.6 seconds, which broke her own ECMS record.

Rozanna Brown posted a personal best in the 100-meter hurdles. Mersadees Gulley had a PR in the mile.

The 4×200-meter relay team of Alenea Martin, McKenzie Louk, Sarah Ross and Jami Dailey posted a PR time. Louk had a PR in the 200-meter hurdles. Dailey and Martin both had PRs in the 200-meter dash.

Camille Hughes won the discus with a toss of 87-8 and finished second in the shot put with a toss of 37-2.
