BLANCHESTER — With just four hits, the Blanchester softball team was defeated by Georgetown 7-0 Wednesday in Southern Buckeye Athletic & Academic Conference action on the BHS diamond.

Kassidy Abney, Madison Curless and Elecia Patton had doubles for BHS. Shelbie Rose had a single.

“As well as we hit Monday, we struggled at the plate tonight,” BHS coach Jamey Grogg said. “Really not sure why, it was just one of those nights.”

On Monday, the Ladycats defeated Bethel-Tate 24-12. The win was the 200th in the BHS coaching career for Grogg.

Curless suffered the pitching loss.
