LEES CREEK — The East Clinton Middle School boys track and field team won a three-team meet with Goshen and Madison-Plains Wednesday on the EC track.
The young Lady Astros were second.
For the boys in the field events, Matthew Mitchell won the shot put (36-2) and Brayden Dotson won the discus (102-6). Aiden Henson went 14-0 in winning the long jump.
On the track, John Cline won the 110-meter hurdles (18.8), Patrick Dotson won the 100-meter dash (12.7) and the 400-meter dash (63.0), Avery Wood won the 1,600-meter run (5:48).
For the girls in the field events, Camille Hughes won both the shot put (34-11) and the discus (93-3).
On the track, Myah Jones won the 100- and 200-meter hurdles (33.8), Mersadees Gulley won the 1,600-meter run and Braylynn Malone won the 800-meter run.
