ADAMS TOWNSHIP — For the 20th time this season, the Clinton-Massie softball team came out on top, defeating Goshen 4-3 Monday in a non-league game at CMHS.

The Lady Falcons are 20-0 on the year.

“Right now we are trying to maintain focus and intensity preparing for the sectional tournament that is coming up,” said CM coach Anthony Lauer. “It is important for us to keep doing the little things that have got us to the point where we are now.”

Taylor Florea is now 14-0 as she picked up the win on the mound. She did not walk a batter while striking out five.

Emilie Fisher was the offensive pacesetter with three hits and two runs batted in. Caitlyn Robinson had two RBI.

“Emilie had a nice game at the plate,” Lauer said.
