CEDARVILLE — Pounding out 22 hits, the East Clinton softball team defeated Cedarville 16-3 Tuesday in a non-league game at CHS.
Tori Bailey had three hits and drove in four runs. Madi Cox had three hits, scored three runs and drove in three runs. MaKayla Smith and Kayla Hall both had three hits and scored three runs. Olivia Rice had three hits and drove in three runs.
Sierra Christian surrendered one earned run in registering the pitching victory.
“This is really an exciting time watching them come together and work as a team,” EC coach Adam Boysel said. “We are hitting a good stride and hope to continue this into tournament play next week.”
