EC takes advantage of CHS miscues for 4-2 win

LEES CREEK — East Clinton took advantage of Chillicothe miscues Friday and posted a 4-2 South Central Ohio League softball win at ECHS.

East Clinton took a 2-1 lead on a fourth inning homerun by Madisyn Cox. The Lady Cavaliers tied the game in the fifth.

The Lady Astros took a 3-2 lead when Taylor Boeckmann scored on a passed ball then Tressana Osborne scored on a CHS error to make it 4-2.

Boeckmann had two hits.

Sierra Christian had a solid performance on the mound, allowing four hits and a walk. She struck out four and none of the runs allowed were earned.
