BLANCHESTER — Aaron Anderson and Brant Bandow combined on a one-hitter as Blanchester defeated St. Bernard 15-0 in five innings Wednesday in a Div. III sectional tournament game at Bott Field on the BHS campus.

The victory puts the Wildcats at 15-5 on the year. Up next will be No. 4 seed Cincinnati Country Day 5 p.m. Thursday at CCD.

Anderson pitched two innings while Bandow went the final three to get the win.

Jared Monhollen had two hits and drove in two runs for the ’Cats while Alec Richardson had two RBI and two runs scored. Robert Rausch scored three runs.

Blanchester had just eight hits but took advantage of five Titans errors and five bases on balls.
