Blanchester girls win SBAAC National Division championship

The Blanchester High School girls track and field team dominated the Southern Buckeye Athletic & Academic Conference National Division championship Wednesday at New Richmond High School. It was the first league track and field championship for the Ladycats since winning the crown in 2009, the last of six consecutive league championships. Blanchester swept honors in three individual categories — Tony Blevins was SBAACN coach of the year, Asia Baldwin was the SBAACN runner of the year and Regan Ostermeier was the SBAACN field athlete of the year.
