WILMINGTON — It was a day for the ladies at the horse track Monday at the Clinton County Fair.

The first 12 races featured fillies touring the oval at the grandstand while the final race on the card had a field of seven with all female drivers.

The 13th race was the Ohio Ladies Pace with Tabatha Canarr driving Royal Meeting to a win in 2:00.3.

Ryan Holton drove three winners on Monday.

On Sunday, Jeff Nisonger and Dan Noble drove three winners each.

There were three races that ended in dead heats — race 2 where Paydaze A Rockin nosed out Hawk’s Cry Squirt; race 5 where White Sock Down was declared the winner over Lima Raider; race 8 had DI’s Whosur Judge taking first over Feelin Silly; and race 9 with World of Gaming getting the nod over Myell’s Rockstar.
