Bartruff holds off Meredith for Majestic Springs club championship

Shannon Bartruff held off Spencer Meredith in the championship flight of the Majestic Springs Golf Club championship tournament Sunday.

Bartruff, the boys basketball coach at Washington Senior High School in Fayette County, had a 4-under par 67 while Meredith carded a 69.

Also, Kyle Rudduck claimed the title in the first flight with a 74. Eric Conley won the second flight club championship with an 82 while Dick Wical won the senior division club championship with a 75.

Phillip Gilmore and Randall Davis finished tied for third in the championship flight with 72s.

The rest of the championship flight, in order of finish: (75) Gary Stover III, Doug Ledford, Jordan Berlin; (77) Adam Morris; (80) Brett Prince; (82) Justin Young; (83) Tim Grimpo; (84) Tony Berlin, John Stern, Randy Lewis.

In the first flight, Josh Johns was runnerup with 76 and Mike Lurz was third with 77. The rest of the flight, in order of finish, Travis Burton (78), Ron Rudduck (80), Luke Dell (82), Bernie Maphet (91) and Dylan Thompson (98).

Also in the second flight, Dan Adams was runnerup with an 83 and was followed by Ron Combs (88), Ash Antonczak (90) and Jeff Miller (111).

In the senior division, Bill Glaspey was runnerup with a 77. Milt Ioratti was third with 84 and Mike Davis was fourth with 90.
