BHS boys soccer claws out win in second half 4-1

FELICITY — A strong second half showing lifted the Blanchester boys soccer team to a 4-1 win Tuesday night in a Southern Buckeye Athletic & Academic Conference match.

The match was the first of the season for the Wildcats.

The two teams were tied at 1-1 at halftime.

Senior captains Sam Schafer and Dakota Penquite scored for BHS as did junior Nevan Coyle, who found the back of the Cardinals net twice in the win.

Assists went to senior captain Eli McEntire, Schafer and Coyle.

Penquite gave up the lone goal on a penalty kick.
