Led by medalist Heather Fryman, the Wilmington High School girls golf team defeated Miami Trace 222 to 228 Tuesday in a South Central Ohio League match at the Elks 797 Golf Club.

Fryman had a 48 for Wilmington, now 3-4 overall and 2-4 in the league with the win.

Lindsey Murphy had a 51 for the Lady Hurricane. Brooklyn Taylor had a 60 and Carrie Robinson came in with a 63. Meredith Robinson had a 64 and Adrienne Besser shot a 73.

For Miami Trace, Makayla Engleton had a 52 and Tori Riley 55.
