LEES CREEK — The East Clinton volleyball team held off Hillsboro in three closely-contested sets for a 25-22, 25-21, 25-22 South Central Ohio League win Wednesday night.

“We played as a team and cleaned up some of the service errors we had Tuesday,” EC coach Sarah Sodini said. “We knew we had to shut down the middle hitters to beat Hillsboro and Kenzie Campbell and Kait Durbin stepped up and did that. Mindy Bean also had an amazing game in the back row. Logan Peterman had a few saves that changed the momentum of the game.”

Logan Peterman had an ace, a kill, 11 assists and four digs. Bean had two aces, four kills and nine digs. Campbell finished with two aces, three kills, five blocks and a dig.

Lacey Peterman had five kills, nine assists, two blocks and a dig. Paige Lilly had five aces, 11 kills and six digs. Durbin contributed five kills, two blocks and a dig. Kaitlyn Talbott had three kills.
