Wildcat 7th, 8th graders take 2 from Indians

NORWOOD — The Blanchester seventh and eighth grade football teams defeated Norwood Wednesday in a pair of games at Shea Stadium.

The eighth grade Wildcats were 48-6 winners.

Brayden Sipple led the offense with four passing touchdowns and two rushing touchdowns, coach Brian Damewood said.

Trenton Czaika had two receiving touchdowns while Brody Rice and Colt Conover caught one touchdown pass each. Gabe Peters had a rushing touchdown.

Czaika, Blake Richard, Rice and Timothy Mowry all had two-point conversions for the Wildcats.

On defense, Brady Phillips, Richard, Conover and Gage Huston led the way.

The seventh graders won their game 16-8.

Adam Frump had a passing touchdown while Gabe McVey rushed for a TD. Ryan Brewer caught the touchdown pass.

The Blanchester defense was led by Frump, St. John, McVey and Jackson Bray.
