FAIRFIELD — The Blanchester girls tennis team finished fourth Saturday in Flight F at the Greater Cincinnati Tennis Coaches Association Coaches Classic at Fairfield High School.

The doubles team of Alexis Vestal and Korie White led the Ladycats with a second-place finish in the second doubles bracket. The BHS duo were defeated by Hardesty and Romero of Little Miami 7-5, 6-1 in the championship match.

In the team standings, Taylor was first and was followed by Little Miami, Harrison, Blanchester, Colerain and Fenwick.

Brooke Honaker finished third in the first singles bracket. She was defeated 8-4 by Thomas of Colerain in the consolation championship match.

Abby Wilson and Lilly Tedrick did not place in the first doubles bracket, Megan Weber did not place in the third singles bracket and Emily Speakman did not place in the second singles bracket.
