The Blanchester Middle School football teams split games with Amelia last week.

The eighth grade Wildcats posted a 22-0 win over the Barons.

Brayden Sipple had a touchdown pass to Trenton Czaika while Colt Conover and Blake Richard both had rushing touchdowns.

The Blanchester defense was strong, coach Josh Creekmore said. Richard, Peters, Conover, Mowry and Hopkins led the way for the Wildcats, according to Creekmore.

The seventh grade squad was defeated for the second time this season by the unbeaten Amelia squad.

Coach Creekmore said Levi St. John, Ryan Brewer and Panetta played well at times for the defense.
