The Blanchester seventh and eighth grade volleyball teams lost matches Monday to Bethel-Tate.

The eighth graders were defeated 25-8, 20-25, 18-25.

Casey Kingsland led the Ladycats with 16 points, 11 aces and two kills. Caili Baumann had five points, two aces, seven kills and a block. Lana Roy had six points, four aces and eight assists. Madison Wells and Destiny Waldron had four points each. Waldron also had two aces and two kills. Noelani Tongonan had three points, four assists and a kill. Becca Kratzer chipped in with a kill.

The seventh grade squad lost 24-26, 25-12, 24-26.

Madison Creager led the way with 18 points, including 16 aces. She also had a kill. Rianna Mueller had three points and 10 aces. Taylor Combs contributed eight points and six aces. Madison Coyle had three points and an ace. Makenna Maddix had two points, an ace and a kill. Taylynn Barr had two points and an ace. Brooklyn Bockstiegel and Madison Pembleton had one point each.
