Tourney pairings for volleyball, boys soccer, girls soccer

Tournament pairings have been made for high school volleyball, girls soccer and boys soccer teams.

In girls soccer, Blanchester earned the highest seed among Clinton County teams in the Div. II Cincinnati Sectional tournament.

The Ladycats, 7-1-6, are the No. 11 seed and will host Batavia, 5-8-3, 7 p.m. Oct. 18 at Barbour Memorial Field.

Wilmington was the No. 12 seed with a 7-5-2 record. The Lady Hurricane will play at Western Brown, 8-7-1, 7 p.m. Oct. 18.

Clinton-Massie, 4-7 at the draw, will play at Monroe, 10-1-2, 7 p.m. Oct. 18.

In boys soccer, the Wilmington High School boys were 12-3 yet seeded No. 23 in the Div. I Cincinnati Sectional. The Hurricane will play at Middletown 7 p.m. Oct. 17.

In the Div. II Cincinnati Sectional, Clinton-Massie is the No. 10 seed with a 2-10-1 record and will play either Wyoming, 6-5-3, or Taylor, 2-10-2, at 7 p.m. Oct 20. If the Falcons play Wyoming the match will be played at Wyoming. Clinton-Massie would host Taylor.

Blanchester is 6-6-1 and seeded No. 15. The Wildcats will meet No. 5 seed Western Brown, 11-0-4, 7 p.m. Oct. 17.

Blanchester will host the Div. II Blanchester Sectional tournament Oct. 15, Oct. 17, Oct. 19, Oct. 20 and Oct. 22.

The Ladycats are the No. 8 seed with a 10-10 record and will play No. 6 seed Western Brown, 13-6, 12:30 p.m. Saturday.

Clinton-Massie, 6-14, is the No. 10 seed and will face No. 7 seed Goshen, 12-6, at 5 p.m. Oct. 17.

In the Div. II Lebanon Sectional, Wilmington, 0-19, will face No. 2 seed Bishop Fenwick, 16-5, at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 17.

East Clinton is the No. 14 seed and will play in the Div. III Mariemont Sectional. The Lady Astros, 5-13, will play either No. 16 Ripley or No. 1 seed Williamsburg, 19-1 on the year, 6 p.m. Oct. 20 at Mariemont High School.
