HILLIARD — Wilmington’s Rodger O. Borror Middle School cross country teams competed Sunday in the Middle School State Meet at Bradley High School.

“It was a great experience for the boys and girls,” coach Eileen Grosse said.

MacKenzie Voges-Pertuset ran 15:26 and was the first member of the Lady Hurricane team to cross the finish line, placing 72nd overall.

Alex Vail was 35th in the boys race, clocking a 12:26.
