CM’s Whitaker misses regional by 2 places

CEDARVILLE — The Clinton-Massie cross country season ended Saturday in the Div. II Cedarville District meet at the Elvin R. King Course at Cedarville University.

Falcon Jacob Whitaker missed by two places of qualifying for the regional meet this weekend at Troy. Whitaker was 30th in 17:30. Individuals in the top 28 advanced to the regional meet.

Katie Hughes was 43rd in the girls race, clocking a 21:23.

“These were two very fast races,” CM coach Dean Richardson said. “I am proud of how our runners competed.”
