The Vital Fitness Boot Camp for Breast Cancer raised more than $500 for a local resident with breast cancer. More than 30 people attended the event, with proceeds benefiting Ashley Fizer, who has breast cancer. The Boot Camp for Breast Cancer was held Saturday at Vital Fitness, 1050 Prairie Ave. Everyone showed up dressed in pink, ready to work out for a good cause. “We were very excited to have such a great turnout for this event,” said Amy Zimmerman, owner of Vital Fitness. “We hope this money, along with our prayers and well-wishes, can make a small difference to our host family and bring further awareness to our community about breast cancer.” Vital Fitness is a 24-hour fitness facility.
