Blanchester JV boys comeback falls short

BATAVIA — The Blanchester boys reserve basketball team’s furious fourth quarter comeback fell short Tuesday in a 41-36 loss to Batavia.

Blanchester trailed 34-21 at the end of three quarters. Blanchester outscored Batavia 15-7 in the fourth, but fell just short.

Wesley Mitchell led Blanchester with 12 points. Jacksson Waialae added five points.

Noah Armocida and Nevan Coyle each added four points. Preston Griffin and Brant Bandow each had three points. Cole Feirl and Jacob Fischer each had two points, while Lane Heeg had one point.
