Massie JV boys bowlers top WHS, lose to CHS

CHILLICOTHE — The Clinton-Massie reserve boys bowling team defeated Wilmington but lost to Chillicothe Friday night at Shawnee Lanes.

The Falcons had 1,458 while the Hurricane finished with 1,408. Chillicothe had 1,800.

Adin Lamb continues to improve, coach Shonda Marburger said, and led CM with 128 and 142. Luke Campbell had 100 and 132 while Hunter Broderick had 141 and 84. John Gehringer had 123 and 89 and Logan Rauh had 82 and 97.

Baker games for CM were 101, 87 and 152.

On Jan. 18, Clinton-Massie’s reserve boys bowling team was defeasted by Goshen and Milford at Eastgate Lanes.

The Falcons had 1,441 while the Warriors finished with 1,752 and the Eagles total 2,022.

Lamb led Massie with games of 101 and 154. Rauh had 127 and 97. Gehringer had 138 and 83.

Broderick had 108 and 85 and Campbell had games of 76 and 80.

Baker games were 82, 97, 120 and 93.

“Most of the boys struggled with these lanes. Adjusting to different lane conditions is something these boys will continue to work on,” said Marburger.
