CHILLICOTHE — The Wilmington High School girls bowling team defeated Chillicothe and Clinton-Massie Friday night at Shawnee Lanes.

The Lady Hurricane finished with 1,842 and easily outdistanced Chillicothe (1,317) and Massie (1,003).

“Across the lanes, knocking pins down was a little tough for all three teams,” WHS coach Josh Fisher said. “We did manage to bowl well in the bakers.”

Wilmington had baker games of 190 and 179.

“Our girls continue to get better as the season is progressing,” Fisher said.

For Clinton-Massie, Emily Rager led with a 282 series (149 and 133).

Brittany Fry had 128, 114; Jennifer Callewaert had 87 and 87; and Kylie Harvey finished with 42 and 88.

Massie baker games were 65, 51 and 59.
