KEY PLAYERS RETURNING

Nic Hayward is returning in the 110 meter hurdles and 300 meter hurdles. Ryland Bowman in long jump. Garrett Hickey discus. Adam Phelps 100 meter dash and 200 meter dash. All members of the 4×100 meter and 4×200 meter relay teams will be returning. Charly Schumacker in high jump. Bayden Stephens and Simon Heys on the distance side will be returning

KEY NEWCOMERS

Ian Holmes and Tyler Parks are two new distance runners who will help push the distance team. Austin Irwin, Derek Davis, Conner Barton new throwers for the team who all show signs of being three great new adds to the team. Josh Vaughan is a new sprinter who is full of energy and pushes the returning runners to run harder.

RIGHT NOW I LIKE

That the team is eager and ready to run. I have pushed them hard in our conditioning and changed a lot of technique to improve times. Also, we have more boys on the team then they had last year or in years past. This is great, but also a drawback due to the fact only the top two runners will run at invitationals. However, it is great motivation for each one of them knowing that someone is always willing to take their place in any meet.

RIGHT NOW WE NEED TO IMPROVE

Our relays and field events right now. The weather has not been the best starting out for us and we are just now starting to get more into our field events and being able to work more on relays. I feel the team is ready to compete at our first meet and show how much they have changed this year.
