HILLSBORO — East Clinton moved to 3-0 and pitcher Sierra Christian was credited with a one-hitter in a 14-1 win over Hillsboro Wednesday in South Central Ohio League play at Alice Crassner Field at Richard Shaffer Park.
For Christian, the sterling pitching performance was another to start the season. In a doubleheader Saturday, Christian hurled eight no-hit innings.
The Lady Astros stole 10 bases with Makayla Smith leading the way with four.
East Clinton had eight hits with Taylor Boeckmann collecting two from her leadoff spot.
