BLANCHESTER — In its seventh non-league match of the season, the Blanchester tennis team defeated Batavia 4-1 Monday on the BHS courts.

The Wildcats are 5-4 on the year. After a pair of non-league road matches Tuesday and Wednesday, Blanchester will face fellow National Division rival Felicity on Thursday at BHS. Both teams are unbeaten in division play.

Wesley Mitchell had a relatively easy match in a 6-2, 6-0 win at second singles.
