Reds and Pirates makeup game set for Sept. 17


Makeup from rainout on May 10 will be played at 12:10 p.m. as part of a day-night doubleheader

CINCINNATI — The Cincinnati Reds vs. Pittsburgh Pirates game at Great American Ball Park from May 10 that was postponed due to rain will be made up on Saturday, Sept. 17 at 12:10 p.m. as part of a day-night doubleheader.

To accommodate the make-up game, the start time for the game originally scheduled on Sept. 17 at 4:10 p.m. vs. the Pirates has been moved to 6:10 p.m. The Reds Stein giveaway to the first 25,000 fans will be distributed prior to the 6:10 p.m. game.

• Game 1: 12:10 p.m. (make-up from May 10)

• Game 2: 6:10 p.m. (originally scheduled for 4:10 p.m.)

Fans holding tickets from the May 10 rainout game may present their same ticket at the gates for the Sept. 17 12:10 p.m. game, with no exchange necessary.

Tickets to May 10 may also be exchanged for a remaining 2016 regular season home game (exclusions apply), subject to availability.

Ticket exchanges can also be made at the Great American Ball Park ticket windows.
