Teams are gearing up for the beginning of the spring sports season Friday, when high school tennis can officially begin. The baseball, softball and track/field seasons can officially start Saturday. The News Journal will be publishing previews on each sport, beginning today with baseball. On Thursday, tennis will be previewed then on Friday it will be track and field. Softball has the preview spotlight on Saturday.
