Wilmington High School cheerleaders Breanna Barnett, left, and Elizabeth Custis were downtown early Friday morning to help the community get into the spirit of Hurricane football as the team is set to host East Clinton in Friday night’s opener. The teams hope to get the game in as the remnants of one of Mother Nature’s hurricanes threatened Southwest Ohio. All tickets for the game were via pre-sale earlier this week, with no tickets available at the gate Friday night due to limitations caused by the pandemic.
