Due to COVID-19 restrictions and mandated closing of senior centers, the Wilmington Savings Bank Clinton County Senior Center has been closed since March.

According to Jane Newkirk, the agency board of directors recently met with staff and it was determined that due to the current climate and the regulations involved, the center will remain closed at the present time.

While staff is anxious to re-open, the center everyone involved feels that this is the best decision. Even though the center has been closed, Clinton County seniors have continued to receive meals, transportation and supportive services.
