The Blanchester High School football season ended last week with a 23-6 loss to Springfield Shawnee in a Region 20 playoff game.
The loss at Barbour Memorial Field leaves the Wildcats at 6-2 on the year.
A game with Batavia was discussed but Blanchester later decided not to play, athletic director Brad Ballinger said.
