After months of enduring Zoom meetings due to COVID-19, the ladies of the Health Alliance of Clinton County were back in action last week, with their first quarterly meeting of the year.
The ladies feasted on lasagna provided by General Denver, to kick off the giving of checks.
Pat Richardson was on hand to accept $1,000 on behalf of the Scholarship Fund. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, no scholarships will be given this year.
Michelle Roth and Cindy Petrich received a $1,000 check to be donated to the Cancer Patient Assistance Program.
Along with the thousands donated, HACC has also donated over $500 to four different Clinton County Organizations to assist during the pandemic.
To close off the evening, new officers were sworn in. These ladies will take on their positions beginning in January: President Staci Close; Vice President Patti Cook; Secretary Mary Camp; and Treasurer Pat Richardson; as well as new board members Ann Johnson, Connie Mason, Pat Fisher, Linda Madison and Joann Chamberlin.
The Health Alliance also thanks our community for so many donations that were made during this troubling time. Without our biggest event of the year, the Christmas Ball, we are not going to receive what we normally would.
With your help, we have received over $10,000 in donations. This helps us all as we put this money back into our community, to help our county fight this horrible pandemic.
