ADAMS TOWNSHIP — Sydney homered and drove in four runs Thursday as Clinton-Massie pounded Clermont Northeastern 9-3 in a non-league softball game at CMHS.
The Falcons are 5-2 on the year while the Rockets drop to 4-3.
Doyle doubled home a pair of runs in the first then homered to score two more in the third. Kayla Drake also homered for the Falcons.
Kiera Brightman struck out eight in seven solid innings in the circle for Massie.
“She did a really nice job or working ahead of the hitters,” CM manager Brandon Lewis said. “Overall it was a good win and happy we were able to play with all the rain we have had.”
