The Pork Pride 4-H Club met at Cuba Friends Church on Sunday, May 21. There were 29 in attendance.

President Stanley Chesney called the meeting to order at 6:10 p.m. Hannah Huff led us in the Pledge of Allegiance and Kai Alexander led us in the 4-H Pledge. Ava Fife gave the secretary’s report. Gregary Achtermann gave the treasurer’s report.

Stanley Chesney told that our Buffalo Wild Wings fundraiser will be on Monday, June 12 from 4-8 p.m. Judy Hatfield talked about a fundraiser at Fiesta Veracruz. Judy Hatfield will send out a fair judging/show schedule within the next two weeks. Judy Hatfield also told the members to bring their projects books to the next meeting.

The next meeting will be on Sunday, June 4 at 6 p.m. Harper Furnish will do the Pledge of Allegiance; Jacob Furnish will do the 4-H Pledge; Stanley Chesney will do a demonstration; and the Chesney family will provide snacks.

The meeting adjourned at 6:30 p.m. The group then went outside and pulled weeds, picked up sticks and spread mulch. Afterwards we enjoyed the wonderful snacks provided by Donaven Dalton.
