Spirk Soccer School set to start July 31 at David R. Williams park

The Spirk Soccer School will be held July 31 to Aug. 3 at David R. Williams Memorial Park in Wilmington.

The camp runs 6 to 9 p.m. each day. There is a discount for Wilmington City Recreation Department players.

The staff includes Steve Spirk, who was the Wilmington College women’s soccer coach for 30 years. Also, Benny Spirk, a standout player at Wilmington High School and Wilmington College, is on the staff. He is the former head coach of the Blanchester boys soccer team and currently is an assistant coach for D’Youville University in Buffalo, N.Y.
