Boys Basketball Final: Mariemont 78, Blanchester 49

BLANCHESTER — Four players scored in double figures as Mariemont defeated Blanchester 78-49 Tuesday night at the BHS gym.

The Wildcats were behind early, trailing 25-11 after one and 45-23 at halftime. The Warriors are a strong team and improve to 11-2 on the year.

Blanchester has lost three straight games and is 4-9 on the season.

Bryce Sipple had 19 points to lead Blanchester with Kaden Cromer scoring 14 points.

Evan Malott had nine points and Jansen Wymer scored four points. Braz Byrom rounded out the scoring with three points.

Charlie Tully led Mariemont with 17 points while Sam Stalzer added 16. The Warriors were 31 of 60 from the field, including an eye-popping 9 for 16 beyond the three point arc.
