BHS girls survive scare from MVC rally

BLANCHESTER — Kaylee Coyle had 26 points and Blanchester made a 16-3 first quarter lead stand Monday in a 48-43 victory over Miami Valley Christian.

The Wildcats (4-15) have won three of their last five games after losing seven straight.

Blanchester held that 13-point lead after one but was outscored 40-32 the rest of the way.

The Wildcats struggled to shoot successfully. Coyle was 9 for 20 from the field and Ali Trovillo was 6 for 11 but the rest of the team was 2 for 30.

Trovillo had 13 points, 11 rebounds and three assists.

Gracie Roy had seven steals and three assists.
