Clinton Co. On-Target 4-H Club holds meeting

The Clinton County On-Target 4-H Club met at the Clinton County Farmers and Sportsman Association Club on Monday, June 10 at 6:35 p.m. There were 49 in attendance. President Makenzie Daniels opened the meeting.

Stanley Chesney led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance and Anna Davis led the group in the 4-H Pledge. Stanley Chesney read the secretary’s report. Isaac Chesney gave the treasurer’s report.

Judy Hatfield presented Makenzie Daniels as the 2024 Clinton County Shooting Sports Ambassador and Anna Davis as the 2024 Clinton County Fair Queen. Caidance Latham was not present but is the 2024 Dog Ambassador. Anna Davis then presented a plaque to Lyle Delph for his years of service as an advisor to the Clinton County On Target 4-H Club. Lyle is retiring as a 4-H advisor after this year.

Judy Hatfield went over projects and judging. Dave Chesney gave an update on the raffle.

Stella Morgan did her Member Minutes on jiu jitsu. Isaiah Thirey did his Member Minutes on his air rifle. Mykah Mothersole did his Member Minutes on his Remington 597 22 semiautomatic long rifle. Andrew Thirey did his Member Minutes on his Lancer Tactical air soft BB gun. All did a wonderful job on their presentations.

Makenzie Daniels went over upcoming dates.

The meeting adjourned at 7:23 p.m. The group then broke out by discipline.
