WASHINGTON CH — Wilmington made it a clean sweep of volleyball action with former South Central Ohio League rival Washington Senior Saturday morning.
Wilmington won the varsity match 25-20, 25-20, 25-18.
The Hurricane also won the junior varsity match, 25-23, 19-25, 25-18, and the freshman match, 25-19, 25-14.
WHS varsity coach Stephanie Reveal said her squad must “lessen the serving mistakes” but overall played well.
“We had some great defensive plays and Tipp (Aidynne Tippett) did a nice job moving the ball across the net for our hitters.”
Tippett finished with 28 set assists. Miya Nance had eight kills. Lauren Diels had three aces and two solo blocks.
