NEW RICHMOND — Wyatt Coblentz scored two goals each Monday as Clinton-Massie defeated New Richmond 5-2 in SBAAC American Division boys soccer.

The Falcons (2-0, 1-1) were in charge from the start.

“Massie showed great control over the game and was able to finish the majority of their opportunities, making (for) a dominant win,” coach Trevor Kackley said.

Gleb Luce was fouled in the box and converted the subsequent penalty kick to make it 1-0. Later in the first half, Danny Mefford scored off a rebound for a 2-0 CM lead.

After the Lions got on the scoreboard, 2-1, Kennedy Morgan took advantage of a defensive effort to score a third Massie goal. It was 4-1 CM at the half as Morgan assisted on Coblentz’s first goal. Coblentz converted a PK in the second half for the final goal for the Falcons.
