Astros shrug off slow start, beat G-Men 3-1

GEORGETOWN — After a slow start, East Clinton pulled off a 3-1 win over Georgetown Tuesday in SBAAC National Division volleyball action.

“We started off very slow, but I’m really proud of the girls for sticking with it and working hard to come back after losing the first set,” EC coach Sarah Sodini said.

Sahara Tate led the Astros with 11 kills. Emily Arnold had 24 assists. Karsyn Jamison served seven aces. Sydney Beiting and Arnold both had eight digs.
