East Clinton junior varsity drops pair of matches
The East Clinton junior varsity volleyball team lost matches to McClain and Georgetown this week.
On Tuesday, the Astros played better, coach Lorrie Arnold said, but injuries and lineup changes were too much to overcome.
Taylor Brown had six kills and three blocks. Haley Carroll had six digs and five passes. Leighton Hale had three serves and seven passes. Maci Lilly had six serves, two kills and an assist. Kimber Seaman had four kills and two assists. Taylynn Spurlock had 11 serves.
On Monday, East Clinton lost to McClain.
Kaylin Chilers had three serves, two kills and a block. Hale had three serves. Maggie Huff contributed a kill and two serves. Spurlock had four serves and an ace. Seaman had four serves, an ace and a block.
