Introducing ‘The Clinton-Massie Corner’

0

Welcome to “The Clinton-Massie Corner,” a bi-monthly column penned by Clinton-Massie Superintendent David Moss. It aims to provide a deeper understanding of our district’s journey, celebrate our successes, and keep our community informed and engaged. Whether you’re a parent, student, staff member, or community supporter, “The Clinton-Massie Corner” is your window into the heart of our district’s story. We will focus each article on communication, connection, and celebration. Let’s get started!

Communication

The school year has officially started, and we were excited to welcome back all of our students over the past week! Each of our schools and the district office will be providing updates through online newsletters for parents and guardians. You can find the latest building newsletters on each school’s website under the “About” section, labeled “Current Newsletter.” Additionally, we’ll be sending out a printed newsletter in mid-September, so be sure to watch for it.

Connection

We aim to strengthen our connections with the community by recognizing the contributions of our dedicated stakeholders. Recently, the Clinton-Massie Board of Education reintroduced a recognition program to celebrate the hard work and significant impact these individuals have on our district’s success and student education. Our district has much to be proud of, thanks to the efforts of many dedicated people both within and outside of our organization. The program, known as C.M.A.D. (Consistently Making A Difference), provides a way for anyone to nominate individuals who have made a positive impact on our schools, departments, or the district as a whole. This program is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate both the significant and everyday contributions that make a difference in our district and school community. Nominations can be submitted at www.cmfalcons.org under the Resources tab.

Celebration

You may not be aware, but this past summer, we replaced our field turf, and it looks fantastic! This upgrade provides our student-athletes with a durable and safe playing surface. We were able to achieve this thanks to the incredible leadership, fundraising efforts, and dedication of our community members. The 4 Quarter Drive committee successfully raised the necessary funds, and we want to celebrate their tremendous achievement. We’re excited to kick off our home football season on Aug. 30 against a strong Coldwater team and celebrate this amazing community contribution. Be sure to come out and support your Falcons!
