CM 8th grade beats Wilmington, loses to Batavia

The Clinton-Massie eighth grade volleyball team split two matches this week.

On Thursday, the Falcons defeated the Hurricane 7-25, 25-16, 25-23.

CM coach Natalee Hillman said he squad wasn’t communicating early in the match but “did a good job of cleaning it up and started talking a lot more, which helped us to victory.”

The Falcons (2-1 on the year) were defeated by Batavia on Tuesday 21-25, 18-25. Hillman said her team served well but had trouble communicating.
