BLANCHESTER — Clermont Northeastern scored early and then again late Tuesday in a 2-0 win over Blanchester in SBAAC National Division girls soccer at Barbour Memorial Field.

“I am happy with how our team played against a good team with a lot of senior leadership,” BHS coach Kyle Hamilton said. “CNE finished second in the league last year. We played better as a team, communicated more and we were more aggressive. We still need to find the back of the net to be able to compete against the good teams in this league.”

Karlee Tipton had seven saves in goal for Blanchester.
