Several members of the East Clinton Great Oaks FFA Chapter participated at the Clinton County Fair. Many took livestock, small animals, crops, woodworking, and excelled in many other areas.

The chapter also worked the Ohio Pork Booth at the Ohio State Fair. Members of the chapter worked at the Ohio Pork Booth representing Premier Feeds from Sabina. Members of the chapter enjoyed assisting at the Dinner in the Fields activity held on New Horizons Dairy in New Vienna.

Chapter reporter Kami Kile attended the NBHA (National Barrel Horse Association) Youth and Teen World Championship held in Perry, Ga. from July 21-27. Contestants had to qualify in their home state during the previous show year in order to participate in this show. There were over 1,400 exhibitors in the teen division. Kile ran in the pole bending, where she finished first in the 2D division and received a gist belt buckle and a check for $940. She also competed in barrel racing, finishing 121st out of 1416 entries in Round 1. In Round 2, Kile placed sixth in the rookie division.
