TROY — Wilmington ran at the Troy Twlight Invitational Saturday, with several athletes posting personal bests.

“We are happy with the progress of our athletes and (Saturday) many personal goals these athletes have made for themselves have been broken,” Wilmington coach Karen Heslop said. “It’s time for new goals to work toward as wel start the second half of the season.”

The WHS runners were in the white races. Six girls posted two season best times while three others had personal records.

On the boys side, there were four PRs and one season best time, along with a course personal best.

Alexa Benitez led the girls with a top 10 finish while Max McCoy was third and Jacob Vance fourth in the boys race.

In the junior high races, Tad Shidaker led the boys and Josey King paced the girls. In all there were two PRs and two course PRs.
